No content is stored here
XTORX is a search interface. It holds no torrent files, no magnet links, no metadata about any work, and no index of its own. It operates no tracker and participates in no swarm. Every result on this site is a hyperlink to a third-party website's own search page, assembled in your browser from the words you typed.
No relationship with the sites listed
XTORX is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated in cooperation with any of the indexes it links to. It has no control over what those sites publish, whether they are reachable, or what they do with your visit. Their terms and their privacy practices are their own.
Your responsibility
Searching for something is not the same as being allowed to download it. What you may lawfully copy depends on the licence of the work and on the law where you are. Plenty of what BitTorrent moves is explicitly free to share: Linux and BSD images, Creative Commons films and music, public domain books, open research datasets. Plenty is not. Telling the two apart is on you.
XTORX does not encourage or facilitate copyright infringement, and it is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Links can rot
Indexes move domain, go behind a challenge page or shut down without notice. A link that returns nothing today may simply be a site that has moved. Entries that stop working are removed from the catalogue and recorded on the about page.
